More Z

Can't wait for ZBrush 4R2 to come out on Sept. 20. Meanwhile, here are some sculpts. I turned the bodybuilder into Mr. Awesome. He's Awesome.

Strongman

Here's a figure I'm working on. He'll probably end up a superhero or weightlifter in a pose, with accessories of some sort.

Fun with ZBrush

Having a blast learning ZBrush and can't wait for version 4R2, after seeing the new features at Siggraph in Vancouver, B.C. last week

Caffe Cittadella

A drawing I did for the best little cafe in Vancouver.

Learning ZBrush

I'm slowly learning ZBrush, a 3D sculpting program, so that I can create multidimensional fun stuff. I created the dragon based on a tutorial from Introducing ZBrush 4, by Eric Keller. Still have to add skin textures, but that's for a later tutorial.

Refining the sketch

Add a few details and textures, and this one will be finished.

Scene 3 once more

I'm redoing Scene 3 to make it more in keeping with the style of scenes 1 & 2. Here's a layout and color sketch.

Strange tank thing

I finally finished drawing individual tank parts so that I could put them together in different ways without having to start from scratch each time. Here is the first spawn of that project.

Tank parts

I'm creating tanks in parts so that I can mix and match. Included is the beginning of my evil tank, so noted because it has spikey treads and skull-like suspension. When it comes time to make it an evil color, I'll just go over to Adjustments>Hue/Saturation in Photoshop and adjust the evil knobs. Or use the evil quick key.
