Backgrounds

Here are some background panels that I created over the last few weeks. I'm really enjoying making these. Some I'll eventually have printed on quality stock with archival inks in limited editions. The idea behind them is one long pan. They flow into one another despite the varied location, except for the eighth panel, the Burrard Bridge in Vancouver. That panel could work as a background or one in a series Vancouver city portraits.

New sketches and stuff

Here are some doodles, concepts for mech stuff, a ZBrush walker and other bits & pieces, some of which will make it into final drawings. And a zombie.

Can't wait for ZBrush 4R2 to come out on Sept. 20. Meanwhile, here are some sculpts. I turned the bodybuilder into Mr. Awesome. He's Awesome.

Strongman

Here's a figure I'm working on. He'll probably end up a superhero or weightlifter in a pose, with accessories of some sort.

Fun with ZBrush

Having a blast learning ZBrush and can't wait for version 4R2, after seeing the new features at Siggraph in Vancouver, B.C. last week
