Strange tank thing

I finally finished drawing individual tank parts so that I could put them together in different ways without having to start from scratch each time. Here is the first spawn of that project.

Tank parts

I'm creating tanks in parts so that I can mix and match. Included is the beginning of my evil tank, so noted because it has spikey treads and skull-like suspension. When it comes time to make it an evil color, I'll just go over to Adjustments>Hue/Saturation in Photoshop and adjust the evil knobs. Or use the evil quick key.

Paintings

Here are a couple of paintings I did this summer, showing my progression. They're both 6"x6".

Probably should have stopped somewhere between stage 2 and stage 3.

Portfolio 4: Scenes

And finally, scenes. By the way, except for the three pen & ink drawings in a previous blog, everything was created in Photoshop. I usually start with pencil on paper, and quickly go over to Photoshop.
I hope you enjoyed looking at the work. As you can see, I have an affinity for rivets, bat wings, cars with fins and old radio tubes.
Cheers

This was done from a photo I took of the Burrard Bridge in
Vancouver, B.C., shot from the Granville Island Bridge.

Portfolio 3: Props

Props are anything not a character or background.

Portfolio 2: More characters

All of the illustrations, except the 'Brainchild', the three pen & inks and a couple of skateboarders posted earlier, were created within the last six months.
